St. John's has an emergency plan that specifies how we will operate in certain circumstances, such as if H1N1 becomes  common in this area.  We want to be prepared.  The plan is in place to prevent panic and to allow us to operate logically.  Our plan has been developed in cooperation with the town of Walpole to avoid duplication or conflicting guidelines.

The creation of St. John's emergency plan was in response to a member, Charles H. Montgomery, MD who developed guidelines for creating a emergency plan.  The guidelines list many resources that others may find helpful.  With Charlie's permission, the guidelines have been shared with the Diocese and are available here.

Should St. John's be closed on a Sunday to prevent the spread of disease or because of poor traveling conditions, we recommend doing Morning Prayer as a family.  Click the following button for an online version of prayer book.  Morning Prayer, Rite I begins on page 37, Rite II begins on page 74.
