TENDING THE VINE TOGETHER

Welcome to St. John’s Episcopal Church, a parish in the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire.  We invite you to worship with St. John’s community.

Our Sunday worship is usually a liturgy of songs, readings, preaching, and a celebration of the Eucharist.

The Eucharist is a traditional holy meal of bread and wine we celebrate together under the leadership of a priest, in sharing which we share the very life of God.

We use a variety of worship resources, including The Book of Common Prayer from 1979 and revisions updating it and published in the forty years since 1979; The Hymnal 1982 and four supplementary hymnal collections developed since 1982.  All are invited to join this holy meal and to receive the blessed bread and wine, or the bread only if preferring not to receive wine.
